Hoodia Smart Buyer’s Checklist

hoodiaRead more about hoodia weight loss supplement – https://hoodia.site. If you really pay close attention to the following tips that I outlined below,  you would become a clever shopper and amazingly increase your chances of finding and ordering real hoodia gordonii from a vendor you can trust. Why take needless chances of buying fake or inferior hoodia and experiencing poor or zero results? Start right the first time with the right hoodia product for you.

1) Be absolutely certain you order a Hoodia product that is 100% natural, ephedra-free, and stimulant-free. It’s still too early to know the results of combining the potent Hoodia with other weight loss ingredients. You may not want to take a Hoodia formula that includes either green tea extract or guarana. Closely study the label to ensure the product in question doesn’t include ingredients you are sensitive or allergic to.

Hoodia Gordonii: Uses, Dosage & Side Effects

Play it safe by ordering a Hoodia product that contains Hoodia Gordonii as its central ingredient insteads as the minor one, and at an insignificant dosage. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4061651/

2) The Right Dosage for Weight loss:  Everyone’s body is different; thus, everyone requires a different dosage of pure Hoodia Gordonii to feel its appetite-reducing power. Vendors selling Hoodia strongly recommend trying a product with at least 400mg. Why? They do not want the first-time customer to become disappointed if no favorable results are experienced. If you do not take enough of the active ingredient in Hoodia, your appetite may not be reduced. For maximum results, take between 1000-3000 milligrams of Hoodia. If one before every meal does not work, consider taking two. Remember: So far, no one has complained about negative side effects.

Test any new product by paying close attention to how you feel on the first couple of days to make sure you are taking the best dosage for you. Maintain a “Daily Diet Diary” to record your day-to-day progress with different Hoodia products. This is a great way to discover what works and what doesn’t.

3) Time: The majority of people who start taking Hoodia may experience its appetite suppressing qualities on the very first day; but keep in mind that it can take between 3-6 days to feel the maximum effect.

Give your hoodia product enough time to work

4) Order from a vendor that provides on its site confirmable lab analysis document that was administered by an independent company. You do not want to order a Hoodia product from a vendor that doesn’t display a genuine Certificate of Analysis. Why risk your money on potentially phony Hoodia?

5) Buy only from a vendor that openly displays a CITES certificate. If you really want to play it safe, never order from a Hoodia-selling vendor that doesn’t show an authentic CITES certificate on its Website.

6) Take special note of the ingredients. Keep in mind that only the “aerial stem” of the Hoodia Gordonii plant contains the active ingredient–extremely important–that helps to suppress hunger. Any product that contains filler, skins, roots, flowers, or anything else other than the “aerial stem” of the Hoodia Gordonii plant is of poor quality and it will not help to reduce your appetite.

7) If you are considering a Hoodia extract, make certain the product label states a standardized Hoodia. This simply means that there exists an equal portion of the active ingredient in every capsule or tablet. Products with no standardized Hoodia may contain differing amounts of the active ingredient; they can prove to be ineffective.

8) Under no circumstance accept questionable substitutes that come from Mexico, China, India, or other countries.

Do yoga, get happy

yoga: it’s not just about strength and flexibility. apparently, three sessions a week can help fight depression.

researchers from Boston University School of Medicine spent 3 months monitoring two groups of healthy individuals, half whose exercise of choice was walking, while the other half practiced yoga for the same amount of time (3 hours/week.) they were questioned about their psychological well-being throughout the study – and to top it off – their brains were scanned before and after.

results? those who practiced yoga reported lower levels of anxiety and increase in mood compared to the walkers.

Professor Chris Streeter says the yoga participants experienced a boost in GABA levels, a chemical in the brain that promotes a sound and relaxed mind, and a state of calm in the body.

do you practice yoga? if so, what kind? how does it affect your body/mood? and if you aren’t into it, what sort of exercise or past-time do you do to de-stress?

me? i’ve only done yoga a handful of times. the hot kind, where by the time you leave, every part of your body/clothing is dripping with sweat. (good times though. i highly recommend.) i heard yoga for runners was good too. has anyone tried that?

Research shows: indulging once in a while ain’t gonna kill you

i know we’re all granola lovin’ health freaks who wouldn’t even dream about touching a piece of bread unless it was 100% wholegrain and certified organic (not that we actually eat bread, of course.) but hypothetically speaking, say you forgot your (Greek) yogurt at home one morning, and had to stop off at Starbucks for a quick breakfast. you meant to say Green Tea but somehow the girl behind the counter understood it as Venti Caramel Macchiato with a side of banana bread and so, well, you had to take it.

well i’m here to tell you do not panicexperts say the occasional indulgence ain’t gonna kill you.

what really matters is your overall lifestyle. Kevin Hall, PhD, a physiologist at the National Institutes of Health, says healthy people tend not to gain weight from the occasional splurge because we compensate for it later on. we ”overeat” one day, and ”undereat” the next. we might have 2 pieces of lasagna one night, and only 1 piece the following. it ain’t no thang.

”On a day to day basis, you can vary your food intake by plus or minus 600 calories a day and still have a stable body weight, as long as your long-term average [calorie intake] is not creeping up or down,” says Hall.

the team of researchers created a mathematical model to determine the body’s feedback in handling fluctuating caloric intake and activity level of the average person. they then asked, ”if we forced the mathematical model to eat what real people do, with fluctuations of about 30%, what would be be the expected change in body weight?”

not much, says Hall. “What we found was that the day-to-day fluctuations of about 600 calories a day led to only small variations of body weight of about 2%, or about three pounds over extended time period.”

naturally, this isn’t a license to go out and eat whatever you want, whenever you want it. the point is, as long as you keep your caloric intake around a general average, appropriate to maintain your weight, you shouldn’t worry about the occasional Häagen Daz too much. not that we’d ever eat that stuff, of course.

what kind of indulgences do you allow in your diet?

if you have a ‘splurge’, do you purposely make up for it afterwards, or does it naturally even out?

Does it pay to be a beyotch?

assertiveness and confidence is the only way to get ahead in this world.

take Sue Sylvester.

As Madonna once said, I’m tough, I’m ambitious and if that makes me a bitch, that’s what I am. Pretty sure she stole that line from Sue Sylvester. No, really. I said it first. “

what a sweetheart. what a role model. we love her so much, we gave Jane Lynch the Golden Globe for best actress in a TV comedy. i mean, how can you not honor the woman who says everything we wish we could say?

so the question of the day is: does it pay to be a bitch?

one UK study says yes. in the paper, “Does it Pay to be Nice?”, researchers found that ‘alpha females’ earned 4% more than their ‘passive’ co- workers.

what’s more: the study, which involved over 5,000 participants, found that while personality traits were just as important as intelligence in determining a female’s salary, it had almost no baring on a man’s earning potential.

“our statistics show that being nice does not pay for women, whereas working hard does,” says Guido Heineck.”this is probably, in part, because agreeable people are too passive in conflict situations and are poorer wage negotiators. traditionally, women are more passive and likable at work. this shows that to be successful in the workplace, women have to adapt to more alpha male-like behaviour.”

but of course, not everyone agrees with that statement. in a more recent study done in the US, women who took an aggressive approach experienced less promotion, while those who self monitored their masculine behavior got more promotion than both men and other women.

researchers from George Mason University gathered 80 MBA students to fill out questionnaires about their personality traits. eight years later, they did a follow up to find out how their careers were going, and as it turns out, ‘macho’ women had been promoted less often than their more ‘feminine’ counterparts. meanwhile, self awareness, or lack thereof, did not affect the fledgling careers of men.

“although masculine women are seen as more competent than feminine women, they are also seen as less socially skilled and, consequently, less likable and less likely to get promoted,” says Dr. Olivia O’Neill. “our research shows that self-monitoring this behavior can have beneficial effects for masculine women, leading to more promotions and success in the workplace.”

i think Sue would beg to differ.

in fact, i think she’d say this study was crap, and heck, only involved 80 individuals compared to the former of 5,000. then she’s say something like, “oh I will bring it, William. you know what else i’m gonna to bring? i’m gonna bring some Asian cookery to wipe your head with. cause right now you’ve got enough product in your hair to season a wok.”

what’s your experience been?

do more women in your office get ahead by “acting like a man” or by being a lady? why do you think that is?

When is it okay to judge another woman’s body?

Maybe you’ve already seen this, but with all the travelling i’ve been doing and limited access to the internet, i’m a bit behind in the times. (and on that note: how did we ever survive without Google?? seriously, were we neanderthals??)

Dance reviewer for the New York Times, Alastair Macaulay, gave his input on the New York City Ballet’s, The Nutcracker. part of his review stated, “Jenifer Ringer, as the Sugar Plum Fairy, looked as if she’d eaten one sugar plum too many; and Jared Angle, as the Cavalier, seems to have been sampling half the Sweet realm.”

The jab has sparked quite the controversy, especially since Ringer once left the ballet due to her struggles with anorexia.

Macaulay responded to his critics by saying, “Ms. Ringer has spoken in the past about coping with eating disorders. some of my correspondents feel I should know this history of hers, just as others have on occasion written to explain which ballerinas have histories of scoliosis. i think otherwise. dancers do not ask to be considered victims. when i’ve praised Ms. Ringer, i’ve applied the standards i’ve applied to Suzanne Farrell, Natalia Makarova and Kyra Nichols.”

“Some correspondents have argued that the body in ballet is “irrelevant.” sorry, but the opposite is true. if you want to make your appearance irrelevant to criticism, do not choose ballet as a career. the body in ballet becomes a subject of the keenest observation and the most intense discussion. I am severe — but ballet, as dancers know, is more so.”

And so i ask: if a person’s body is part of their job requirement, (dancers, athletes, models, actresses) does that give the public the right to assess and comment on them?

I’m not going to lie: i feel a bit torn on the subject. if the art, or skill level, depends on a person’s physicality, i don’t see how it can not be part of the assessment.

That said, most of us would agree we are WAY too harsh of critics when it comes to celebrities. an actress can’t even gain a few pounds without the rumor mill saying she’s pregnant. i just saw Kim Kardashian mention her experience with this on The Early Show, and the same thing happened to Eva Longoria a while back, to which she told US Weekly, “i’m not pregnant, i’m just fat. i gained 5lbs over the summer, so instead of being a size zero, i’m a size one.”

Ridiculous.

Thoughts?

What about personal trainers, dietitians, or nutritionists? is it ‘okay’ to hold them to a certain level of physical fitness/health?

Is it more/less ‘okay’ to judge a male’s physicality vs. a woman’s?
